SB 173 Business Entity Amendments (effective date May 11, 2010):
This bill modifies sections 16 -6a, 16-10a, 42.2, 48-2a, 48-2c of the Utah Code by creating uniformity in the registered agent and service of process sections. It also requires all documents to be type-written or computer generated. In 48-2c it also requires the notice of a series LLC to be made right after the naming provision.
SB 110 REVISOR'S STATUTE (effective date May 11, 2010):
This bill now adds the word "institution" along with "college" "university" and "institute" as needing a letter from Consumer Protection before the name can be registered.
