Renewal Process
The Division of Corporations and Commercial Code has announced that Utah businesses will start seeing a smaller renewal notice in their mailbox. The Division of Corporations and Commercial Code has adopted post cards for their business entity renewal program, providing access to an online site with a secure PIN (personal identification number) where they can make changes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

While you are renewing your business online, you will notice that you will be able to make changes to your business entity. We hope that you find this service very helpful and convenient.
You may notice a gray box on the front of the postcard that reads "Principal Positions Hold". This means that your business entity has failed to list the statutory number of principals. For Domestic Profit and Professional Corporations, you will need to list at least 1 officer and 1 director. For Non-Profit Corporations, you will need to list at least 3 Directors/Trustees. For Limited Liability Companies, you will need to list at least 1 member or 1 manager.
If you are unable to renew online, then you may use the renewal application to renew your business .
